Is it really July already?

Where has this year gone? Is it really July already? It’s like it was just Christmas yesterday…it’s gonna be Christmas again soon! My daughter is already talking about the Luau birthday pool party she wants to have at the YMCA this year! I can’t believe I’ve been at this since December. Only really at it since May, but at it, nonetheless, for 7 months! Too bad I haven’t lost more than I have in that time, but you live and learn right?

So what have I been up to this past week? Friday was the same crap. Working thirds. Icky! I took Saturday night off to be rested for the game on Sunday. I spent Saturday with my family…nice! Sunday was the game! It was a blast!! We ate a LOT, but I logged it all and enjoyed it! We left in the morning and stopped and had a breakfast buffet, yep, you read it right! Ha ha! At the ballgame I had two bites of a hot dog, decided it was gross and threw it out. I ate about  3/4 of one of those soft pretzels with cheese and then was full. On the way home, we had Bob Evans. Rob and I split strawberry stuffed french toast. Yummo! The Cardinals lost, but it was still a fun time! I got a bit of a sunburn, but Rob and Madi didn’t??? It was Madi’s first game and she loved it!

Monday it was back to the grind….school. I am sooo glad that this coming Tuesday is midterm already. I’m ready for my two weeks I will have between semesters. I had a test on Wednesday. Not so sure about that. It was rough. This coming week I have one on Tuesday and two on Thursday. Man, summer semester is a biatch!!

Diet-wise, other than the game, I’ve been right on! Even with the game, I came out well overall for the week!

Last weeks weight: 222

This weeks weight: 221

Loss: 1 pound

New BMI: 32.7

My planned calories for the week were 10,500 to 12, 600 (1500-1800/day). I actually averaged 1555/day and consumed 10,887. I burned 3,397 calories from workouts! That’s double last week! :) So here’s the rundown on how I did with last week’s goals:

  1. Water-6/7 days
  2. Stay on track with food-check (the ballgame was a planned free day)
  3. Go to a produce stand-check
  4. Don’t make myself sick at the ballgame-check
  5. Be sure to send boosters to some buddies-check
  6. Take a mental health day-check
  7. Weed the flower garden-check(delegated to Rob)
  8. Curl Madi’s hair one day-nope (but we played a lot, does that count?)
  9. Try the ball at the gym-Can’t get over the fear of being watched.
  10. Do all my planned workouts-check (one was subbed, but still did one)

Once again, seven out of ten! Onward to this weeks goals!

  1. Water, water, water!
  2. Stay on track with food.
  3. Try my HG smoothie recipe I’ve been wanting to try.
  4. Do the stair stepper one day at the gym.
  5. Do all my planned workouts.
  6. Do three rounds of weights one day instead of two!
  7. Paint the outlet covers from the office (It’s been needing done for at least a month!).
  8. Get Madi a snail.
  9. Enjoy the fourth of July festivities!
  10. Be sure to support my buddies!

So, I know this is a big holiday weekend. I want everyone to be safe, ok? And try to make good choices! Even if they aren’t the best, make them better than you would have made before. You can all do that for me, right? If I can do it, I know you all can!

Marie, congrats again on the 1-lb loss and you’re going down, it’s awesome! LOL at your daughter mentioning the Luau… sounds familiar. Thank god my daughter doesn’t hit her next birthday until February. Awesome ‘goals’ and keep focused, you’re doing great. :)

I know, it is like halfway through summer…when did that happen?!
I somehow wish summer were over…yikes did I say that? But it would be the end of this horrible class I am taking.
Our test is next week sometime. I showed my mom the textbook I had to study, she read a page and said she didn’t like that book! lmao
She told me just to get a C which is a passing grade, take it and run for your life. I think I might do that…
But I got a perfect score (15 out of 15) on the last 2 homework assignments, and he wrote “Good” to me, so I must be doing better than the first few weeks, right?! I hopes…

A.M. — I feel the same way ! I always look forward to the 4th of July EVERY year as it is my fave holiday but then I am sad cause that means that half of the summer fun and swimming time is pretty much over . . . ;( I feel like this past 6 months has gone by VERY quickly as well and kinda wish it would slow down . But we have been busy little bees so no wonder time is flying, right? Well, u did fanfreakintastic last week and cant wait to see what you do this week ~~~
